I made a new social media platform nobody asked for

I like to discuss news. Actually most of the stuff that gets discussed in social media is news related. So I made a social media platform, where you can discuss news.

The jist

The solution is based on RSS-feeds, and for each feed item, you can create a discussion and comment on the news.

Some news outlets limit and use pre-emptive cencorship on their articles. Uutislauta doesn't do this. You're free to discuss anything and each article is open for discussion ad infinitum.

Key features

• Firebase auth
• Django Auth for admin
• Users can add their own RSS-sources
• Other users can discover the sources users have added
• Both will see the discussion in their feed
• Users own their data, ie. simple message, sourcs & full user data deletion

I leveraged Django's native auth to have a fast way to manage stuff in admin views. It's not handy to regular users, since it would require me to manage all sorts of stuff I don't want to do, so I opted for a hybrid approach.
